ID Solutions is a division of Arch Crown, Inc., a 116-year-old label and tag manufacturer. ID Solutions began 38 years ago as Princeton ID Solutions and was a pioneer and developer of on-demand barcode printing technology. The company also held a patent for the first reasonably priced, portable electronic labeling system. Princeton ID was among the first to develop UCC barcode software that met the initial requirements of K-Mart, Walmart, JC Penney, and others. ID Solutions and Arch Crown are 2 companies that were started in NJ and have remained in NJ for over 100 years.

What we do

Today, ID Solutions sells labels for the medical, food, and manufacturing industries. These industries often have special requirements for their labels. Many companies need a special adhesive to withstand extreme temperatures or sometimes the adhesive needs to be repositionable or removable. Other times companies need a label with an opaque adhesive to cover printing that has become obsolete.

With access to thousands of existing die sizes and shapes, special requirements are often met without the cost of a new die. Labels can be custom printed, as well as variably imprinted as needed. We can print:
