With most parts in stock, ID Solutions can respond to calls for service promptly and efficiently on-site or at our facility. Service is free on the first service, plus parts, travel or shipping if applicable. On-Site service is routinely provided in the NY-NJ Metro area. Cost of service anywhere else in the United States to be determined.

Standard Service Terms and Rates

Effective Jan 1, 2015

Travel charges are billed at the IRS rate of 57.5 cents/mile. Tolls and parking are additional. For example, a typical 20 mile round trip in NJ comes to $11.50. The mileage will be taken directly from Mapquest.com or the Technician's GPS. Travel during peak periods or with excessive delays may be charged up to 25% over the Mapquest’s estimated time.

  • $149/hour from office departure to return.
  • Parts will be billed at the Printer Manufacturer's published list price.
  • Telephone support for any problem on the printer serviced will be provided free of charge for 60 days.
  • There is a minimum charge of $149.00 for labor and travel time (see above) plus sales tax if applicable, which is payable by credit card before the technician is dispatched. The balance, if any, will be charged to the same credit card.
  • Credit worthy accounts may be billed on account on subsequent calls once credit it approved.

Hourly charges will not be made for "Call-Backs" due to lack of parts availability on the initial call or a recurrence of the same problem within 60 days. Travel and parking charges will apply. To avoid unnecessary “call-backs” and save time and charges On-Site please answer pre-diagnosis and symptoms questions below as thoroughly as possible.

Top of form error/Ribbon fault
Position Fault
Uniformly poor print quality
Skips labels
Prints above or below the label into the next label
Prints off center, too far to the right or left
Prints well on one side and gets gradually poorer toward the opposite edge
Perfectly straight continuous white lines running through the printing from one label thru the next
Poor printing or voids at angles appearing in the printing
Labels advance the requested number of times but don't print
